    Fountain of Middle Age

The search for eternal youth is growing up. According to an article in The New York Times, women in their late 50s and 60s are going under the knife (and needle) to achieve a middle-age look.

This new niche of patients includes CEOs and other power players who don't want to be perceived as "past their prime" by colleagues and competitors. As the Times reports, these women are angling for the cosmetic sweet spot: "old enough to command respect, yet fresh enough to remain vital."

    Hot Grannies

Yes, granny panties are back. No, they're not exactly what Nana would wear.

The new high-waisted brief styles are sleek and slim-fitting, like the ones from trendy undergarment brand TEN Undies.

According to Fashionista, overall sales of granny panties have doubled since 2010, from $79 million to $197 million.

Still, thongs remain a frontrunner—raking in $559 million in sales in 2012—but we're cheering for the comeback kid… or, granny, rather.
