    Cosmo's Literary Studs

Turns out some of the most celebrated writers of American literature owe their start to Cosmopolitan.

The 127-year-old magazine invites you to check out its impressive archives, where you'll find fiction by H.G. Wells (his "War of the Worlds" was originally serialized in Cosmopolitan in 1897), and a short story by Jack London from a 1916 issue.

Check out more of the magazine's literary greats—including Mark Twain and Rudyard Kipling— here.

    It's in the Mail

Snail mail is making a comeback.

Daily Candy brings word of Printic—a new app that lets you send pictures stored on your smartphone or from Facebook and Instagram to someone's mailbox (the one in front of their door) within three days. It costs just a dollar per print, which means you have zero excuses to not send Grams and Gramps some pictures.

Check out the app and other new digital finds at Daily Candy.

    What Would Karl Do?

Karl Lagerfeld is many things: Chanel and Fendi's creative director, a skinny black jeans aficionado and—above all—someone who's never hesitated to speak his mind. A new book released Tuesday titled The World According to Karl brings us 176 pages of the 80-year-old's outrageous philosophies, such as:

"I like everything to be washable, myself included."

"I didn't go on this diet for people to paw me … I wanted to be a good coat hanger."

"Jogging pants are a sign of defeat. You've lost control of your life, so you go out in jogging pants."
