    Braided Beauty

Kate Bosworth has been getting bolder with her style of late—first, with her Topshop metallic-foil T-shirt dresses, and now, with her hair.

The actress traded her signature slicked-back, center-parted 'do for a beautiful Mohawk braid at the premiere of her film Big Sur last night in New York. In typical Kate fashion, she nailed it.

Consider our hairstyle for holiday party season locked down.

    31 Haunts

Why settle for a generic haunted house this Halloween when you could visit a bona fide ghostly haunt?

Daily Candy rounded up the 31 spookiest spots in the U.S. While some are just plain creepy (Winchester Mystery House, for one, which was built to appease angry spirits), others, like Shocktoberfest in Philadelphia, are a bit more playful—requiring you to strip down to your skivvies upon entering (no kidding).

    Kama Sutra, Married Edition

Even The Kama Sutra is in need of an update every 18 centuries or so.

Introducing the 2013 "sequel": The Married Kama Sutra: The World's Least Erotic Sex Manual. Available Tuesday, the illustrated guide shows marriage in all its post-honeymoon, post-kids grandeur. See if you've mastered all 28 sutras—from the oh-so-true ("Waltz of the Sloths": Going to bed at 7:30 p.m. when the kids are away) to the honey-how-could-you ("Blindness of the Mole": Failing to notice your wife's new bangs—and saying, "There's something different about you" most certainly does not count).
