Party Pretty1 of 11
By Sara Tan
Look gorgeous throughout the holiday party season with a little help from some of our favorite celebs. We consulted their makeup artists and hairstylists to find out how to re-create Reese's smoky eyes, master Naomi's faux bob and more.
Piece Out2 of 11
For hair that looks both fun and effortless, re-create Lily Collins' piece-y style. Hairstylist Mara Roszak first sprayed Phyto's volumizing spray onto Collins' damp hair, then dried it using Harry Josh Pro Tools hairdryer, and added waves with a 1-inch barrel iron. To finish off the natural textured look, she sprayed Serge Normant dry shampoo at the roots and ran a bit of Kevin Murphy Night Rider Matte Texture Paste through hair. A final spritz of L'Oréal Elnett Satin Hairspray helped the style last.
Smoke Alarm3 of 11
Add a little mystery to your look with sultry, smoky eyes like Reese Witherspoon's. Makeup artist Molly Stern used the gold shadows in Lancôme's Color Design Shadow & Liner Palette in Bronze Amour to fill in Witherspoon's crease and inside corners of her eyes. Then she pressed dark brown shadows—Lancôme Color Design Eye Shadow in Fashion Label and Shu Uemura Matte Eye Shadow in Medium Brown—at the outside corners. She finished the look with Lancôme Artliner 24H in Chrome and several coats of the brand's L'Extrême Mascara.
Lashing Out4 of 11
Keep the attention on your eyes by copying Dianna Agron's dreamy, retro-inspired look. Makeup artist Daniel Martin swept the actress's lids with the seafoam green pastel shade from Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Quad Palette in Pantelleria. Then he created thick, bold lines along her lash lines with Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Eyeliner and completed the look with a few coats of the brand's mascara.
Making Waves5 of 11
To create Allison Williams' glossy waves, hairstylist Mark Townsend applied a dollop of Dove Whipped Cream Mousse to damp hair and dried it with a medium round brush for volume. Next, he took 3- to 4-inch sections of hair and curled them with a 1-inch curling iron away from her face. To break up the curls, he scrunched the actress's hair while spritzing Oribe Après Beach Spray all over. To make her ends piece-y, he sprayed Sally Hershberger Glam Waves on his hands and combed his fingers through hair. Finally he secured the look with Dove Extra Hold Hairspray.
Red Hot6 of 11
A classic red lip, as seen on Ashley Madekwe, is instantly festive. The actress's makeup artist first created a flawless canvas with L'Oréal True Match Foundation, then applied a L'Oréal Infallible Le Rouge in Refined Ruby. To balance the bold lip, follow Madekwe's lead and keep your eye makeup simple. Line upper lashes in black and finish with a couple swipes of mascara, like Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara.

Borrow Chloe Moretz's romantic braid for your next special holiday occasion. Hairstylist Gregory Russell first worked Kevin Murphy Easy Rider Anti-Frizz Crème through Moretz's damp hair. He then made a center part, combed the top flat and blow-dried hair using a round brush. With a 1 1/4-inch curling iron, he created waves at random for added texture, and loosely braided hair to the side. Next, he sectioned out a few pieces and wove in smaller, tighter braids. To fasten the braids, Russell used clear bands and tied the end with a piece of black lace.
Glow On8 of 11
Shine subtly by stealing Lea Michele's "I just got back from vacation" glow. The actress's bronze hue started with an application of L'Oréal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Makeup in Sun Beige. Then, her makeup artist used L'Oréal Visible Lift Color Lift Blush in Nude Lift on the apples of her cheeks. And last but not least, lips were given a natural finish with L'Oréal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Eternally Nude.
Coming Up Roses9 of 11
Perfect for winter, rosy cheeks like Kerry Washington's help you look happy and fresh-from-the-cold pretty. With a Beauty Blender sponge and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Radiant Light, makeup artist Carola Gonzalez highlighted the actress's cheekbones, forehead, nose and chin. She then swept Lancôme's Blush Subtil in Sparkling Rose from the apples of the cheeks and up towards the temples.
Side Note10 of 11
Try Naomi Watts' faux side-swept bob for more formal holiday festivities. Hairstylist Giannandrea Marongiu started by applying Matrix Total Results Amplify Foam Volumizer throughout Watts' roots and partially down the length. Using a medium round brush, she blow-dried the actress's hair in sections for added fullness. After creating a deep side-part, Marongiu used a 1/2-inch curling iron and sprayed Matrix Total Results Amplify Hairspray on each section. Finally, she placed a rubber band halfway down the length of Watts' hair, folded it under, and pinned the faux bob at the nape of the neck.

Reach new heights this holiday season with Jennifer Morrison's topknot. Hairstylist Ryan Trygstad started by applying Oribe Grandiose Mousse to Morrison's hair before blow-drying. Next, he sprayed the brand's Dry Texturizing Spray at the roots. With a rubber band, he secured a high pony at the top of her head. He then loosely rolled hair around the elastic and secured the topknot with large bobby pins. To keep the look in place, he sprayed White Sands Infinity Finishing Spray.
