Caroline Rules: I Do or I Don't?
"Real Housewife" Caroline Manzo on what to do about pre-wedding doubts

The Dilemma: I'm getting married in the fall, and while I love my fiance, I am sick to my stomach with doubt. I feel so guilty, because my fiance is truly a wonderful person and he does make me happy. Maybe I've seen too many movies (thank you, The Notebook!), but I still have this idea that love is supposed to be overwhelming, all-consuming and truly passionate. If that's that case, then something is missing from my relationship. I'll be honest with you: I'm 36, so it's not like I'm getting any younger and, yes, I've always been someone who worried about settling, wondering what else was out there. So how do I know if all the anxiety and uncertainty that I'm feeling is just old-fashioned pre-wedding jitters or if it's a sign I shouldn't walk down the aisle?
Caroline's Ruling: Stop watching movies. First and foremost you have to understand that nothing in life is perfect. If you're afraid of losing out on something better, then you will always be on the hunt for the next best thing and chances are you will never find it.
