Kit's teaching philosophy comes down to one thing: she wants you to feel good! A nationally recognized fitness professional, published writer and speaker, she teaches both classical Pilates and an innovative fusion incorporating circuit training and athletic conditioning. When you train with Kit, her goal is to make you feel healthy, capable and strong.
At her very first Pilates class, during a time when she didn't feel particularly healthy, the studio owner mistook her for a teacher. The surprise of that interaction woke a voice inside her that said, "Maybe I could be," and she went on to earn her certification in all 5 levels of Classical New York Style Pilates. She's also a NASM Personal Trainer and Pilates Plus Trainer with certificates in Sports Conditioning, MMA Fighting and Nutrition.
Kit has written numerous articles, starred in a variety workout videos, and been featured for her work on fitness and body acceptance in print and on The Today Show, E Network, Access Hollywood, Extra and more. She was named one of the top five trainers in Los Angeles by SHAPE magazine, a top female trainer by PopSugar, and made it to the top twenty of Oprah's "Be The Next TV Star". She has also been one of the top five national finalists for Women's Health magazine's "Next Fitness Star".
Pilates
Get a full-body workout in 20 minutes. This audio-guided Cardio-Pilates blend focuses less on precise, perfected movement and more on going with your flow. Audio allows you to tune into your own body rather than focus on getting every exercise “right." Warm up with heart-pumping Butt Kicks and High Knees and peak with Pilates-style Push-Ups into Mountain Climbers.
Pilates
This audio-guided Pilates class covers all the traditional exercises you love—Roll-Ups, Hundreds, Single & Double-Leg Stretch, Criss-Cross Abs, to name a few—in just 15 minutes. Notice the difference when you’re not watching, only listening. Pay attention to your own body and bring new awareness to your practice.
Fitness
In Kit’s words, you don’t have to be “good” at running, or even like running to be a runner. This audio-guided class runs you through (literally) how to do a high intensity running routine. From posture to pace and warm-up to cool-down, this class will help you master your “faster." No judgment, no tough love—just you finding your footing on how to gauge maximum and minimum effort.
