Pride: Be who you are

Though many of the spectacular celebrations have been subdued, the spirit of Pride shines stronger than ever. This year, Pride proclaims its message of inclusivity amidst an urgent upswelling of the Black Lives Matter movement, an important reminder that they are inextricably bound. As we celebrate our LGBTQ+ community, we stand with them, the Black community, and all who have courageously stood in protest against social injustice throughout history. We honor this history by continuing the fight, living with pride in who we are, and demanding protection and acceptance for all others to do the same.

Practice glorious chest and heart openers with this juicy releasing sequence. Layer on the props and watch the layers of tightness and stress melt away as you use this support to open your upper body, chest and heart space. Practice longer holds to get deeper into the openings as you move through postures like supported bridge, baddha konasana and upward bow. This is going to become your daily favorite. Props Needed: Two blocks, a bolster and a strap.

Peak with an arm balance and some deep hip work, then finish with surrendering into yin style hip, spine and shoulder releases. Evolve the posture of your flow and then surrender into softness and release. Props Needed: Two blocks.

Sweat out what doesn't serve you with a fiery abdominal set, cardio bursts, and plank to lunge movements.
