Qigong

A practice based on ancient philosophy that blends movement, meditation, and breathwork.

Qigong is rooted in ancient Chinese philosophy and has persisted over thousands of years to support mind-body wellness. Designed to balance your life energy, or Qi (“chee”), Qigong blends light-flowing movement, breathwork, and sound. These practices release stress, promote longevity, enhance vitality, and support emotional health. Its pace is often faster than yoga, but it is very gentle and safe for those returning to the mat, recovering from injury, or with physical limitations. Qigong aims to connect you with nature and can provide the foundations for a spiritual practice.

This Qigong class helps you absorb energy, giving you a new sense of vitality and level of focus. Start with gentle joint warm-ups, then move slowly through a relaxing sequence that includes Breathing with the Universe, Counter Swing, Zen Circles, a centering practice, tapping, and standing meditation.
