Resilience allows us to improvise and be present amidst change and challenge, leading to increased incidences of insight. Build a steady foundation for your practice by reviewing all the postures in your program thus far. Move into a grounding chair pose, forward folds, warriors, balance postures and breath work to cultivate greater fluidity and strength in your being.

Explore the lingering state of worry to learn how to watch anxious thoughts without being caught up by them. Ease your mind with a short meditation before connecting to your body with a strong, slow flow that peaks in a soothing headstand. Finish with a long pigeon pose for a deep release. Props Suggested: A blanket and wall space.

How do we release stress? It's not about leaving everything else behind, it's about the appropriate movement of energy through the body, just like the movement of the inahalation and the exhalation. This stress-relieving practice begins with a 30-minute joint-freeing series incorporating simple circular movements of the joints before taking that freedom into a few long holds (bridge with a block and seated forward fold) that then help us to release what we've held onto. Life is about buckling the seat belt and holding on. This stress-reducing practice helps give us the ability to buckle our seat belt and live with a sense of resilience.

This meditation is for anyone facing a diagnosis, health challenge, medical procedure, or surgery, or who is going through a process of rehabilitation and recovery. Visualizing a positive outcome helps to build strength, bolster resilience, and amplify the positive effects of whatever is happening in the process.

In this radically transformative process for working with deep emotions, we look into the experience of loss and sadness through the mind, the body, and the imagination, then dissolve the residue of emotional energy through the tantric practices of holding space and active imagination. A spacious and nurturing class to support those of you who are going through the grieving process. Focus is on bringing breath deeply into the body, moving with kindness allowing yourself to be where you are. Take time to work yourself around your entire body, with lunges, forward bends, twists and hip openers. Focusing on the support of other yogis also going through grief can be comforting.

This 45 minute Level 1/2 class begins with a vigorous opening warm up which prepares us for a continuous Standing Pose Flow, Standing Hip Openers and multiple Seated Poses. Ends with brief Savasana. The emphasis of this class is learning how to overcome obstacles on our mat to help us overcome them off the mat, too!

When your spirit has been broken, you feel defeated, or you're grieving, sometimes a practice that helps you blow off some steam and "get back on the horse" is just what is needed rather than something slow or gentle. This is straight up vinyasa, warrior poses, and hand balancings for a full body rush of transformative power when times are tough.
