Ali Owens is an E-RYT 500, meditation teacher, dancer, world traveler, and mother. Driven by her passion for movement, Ali studied dance in the World Arts & Cultures program at UCLA, leading her to discover yoga. She signed up for a yoga course to unwind from the long days of training, but what she found was enthusiastic interest in the philosophy and spirituality of the practice. Upon graduation, she completed her first teacher training in Santa Monica and continued to study with some of the most celebrated teachers in the world. Ali is trained in Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative/Yin, Subtle Body, Pre/Postnatal Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation, and Yoga Nidra.
Once a simple way to wind down from a busy lifestyle, yoga has become the catalyst for Ali to live the life she always dreamed of. Her mission is to empower others to uncover their intuition and live in alignment with their hearts through movement and meditation. Ali has become well known for her innovative teaching style and ability to create a welcoming environment for all students to grow and thrive.
Ali has taught at some of the most reputable studios in Los Angeles and worked as a spokeswoman and ambassador with several leading yoga and fitness brands. Yoga
This slow, relaxing class honors times of change by encouraging you to take chances in balancing postures, surrender in long holds, and notice what needs to be released. It’s also a great sleep-prep practice. Creating ease begins by creating space. This breath-centered Vinyasa class creates that space by releasing tension in your body, clearing your mind, and helping you find lasting relief. In a fun sequence, flow through Sun Salutations, Triangle, Temple Pose, and a Chair variation, then peak in Flying Pigeon before practicing Wheel Pose, Handstand, and Pigeon.
